Crime and Punishment

Yes,the death penatly should exist as a punishment for both murder and terrorism.Moreover,I believed that death penatly can reduced crime because people will think the consequence before commit a murder or terrorism.Furthermore,i think the main purpose of prison must be rehabilitation as these people will get an another to become a good people and improve themselves.These people can also help police to find another criminal.In addition,people who drink and drive should cancel their licence or gives them a high fine to paid because if ever the driver lose control of their car they can make a fatal accidence and take innocence life which is unacceptable in the society. As well as,yes,sometime the police should have the right to stop and search you in the street without a warrant if ever we are drug dealer,commiting a crime and terrorism ,i think they have right because it is the duty to any police to protect the society.

In Mauritius the official retirement age for women is 60 and men 65 whereas in UK both women and men are 65.Moreover,similar to UK there is an old age pensions for people too old to work in Mauritius,per weekly they get Rs 700.5.Furthermore,for those people who are unemployment receive benefits Social assitance and Social insurance system and in UK help comes in many ways and is usually paid by the Department of Social Security.Similar to UK Mauritius have housing,sickness,maternity and death benefits.In addition,Mauritius have social workers and there are popular.Even more,government and public donations,Companies are some important charities in my country and they collect by individualy go door to door and fund raising.Further,yes there is anequivalent of the Citizens Advice Bureau in my country.In addition,yes there is an equivalent of the National Health Service (NHS)in my country.Moreover,inMauritus a family doctors get average Rs 30 000. In mauritius the nurse uniform is general white and wearing a hat.The emergency telephone number is 114.In my country,we have public and private hospital,local denpensary and regional hospital.

Newspapers

In the independent newspaper,on 7.May.2011,the headlines was 'No to the yes men'.The times newspaper on the same date the headlines was'No Deputy Prime Minister' where the article took the whole page and a little bit of advertisement.In guardian the headlines was'No to AV...yes to a whole new constitutional conflict'and in addition,the article take half page.All the newspaper were publisher in the same date but their headlines were different.In editional section for independent newspaper the writer Matthew Parris was disagreed to the article'No to the yes men'because he use negatives words like 'i realise that the alternative is now awfully yesterday'.However to the other newspapers in the opinion page there were nothing mention about the headlines instead they mention about political issue.In my opinion ,i agree that they comment about political issue because it is a serious issue and the reader are  more concern about it.

Television

In England we have many channels like BBC1 and Channel 4 ,in Mauritius also we have many channels likeMBC1.Recently in my country we have introduce digital terrestrial television and Zee tv but in Uk it was already broadcasted. Moreover,in UK we put censorship in T.Vprogrammes,violent films and sometime in advertising it is similar to my country.
On last Tuesday at 7pm in the BBC1channel feactures' The one show ' it is a Magazine show with tropical reports,feactures and interviews from around theUK,in same date and time on BBC2 channel it was shown'Coast' a documentary it is about a journey around the coast of the UK.Furthermore, on the ITV1channel it was shown a serial name' Emmerdale 'duration 30 minutes.In additions,both Channel 4 and Channel 5 it was telecast News durations 50 mins,includes sport and weather and in Channel 5 National and International news.
The most famous British soaps is' Coronation Street'.
